Hi Robert;

I've never tried C&B strips, even though I bought the Grizzly bit set. I started construction without them, and it was so easy to cut the bevels with the plane I just finished up that way. The comments regarding finding hidden gaps appearing when planing C&B joints also frightened me a bit.

Since both methods of construction obviously produce nice finished products, I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever method you choose. Do give strong consideration to losing the staples, however . . . 8-)
