Shawn, That looks like a great way of making a very comfortable seat. I'm wondering if there is a source of minicell foam in a liquid form that could be poured over a positive mold made following your procedure.
What is the chemical composition of minicell foam? TAP plastics sells liquid "Room Temperature Vulcanizing" urethane rubber, silicone rubber and liquid latex for mold building. They also sell expanding Polyurethane foam in a two-part kit that becomes rigid after pouring.
