I built a Yare 5 years ago as my first boat building project. Since then I have built five other boats. The Yare is still my favorite!

For the price if you do not like it sell it to someone else. The Yare delivers great performance with a short waterline. It feels tippy at first but secondary satability is quite good. I am 5'5". This is not a boat for a six footer. I recently cut the cockpit bigger because I have put on a few pounds since I built the boat.
