Hey Spidey,

I cut the ends off my boards to get rid of the checks and ink labels - never thought of discoloration.

If I would have been thinking, I should have cut each board to a slightly different length. I could then easily sort my strips into "board groups" [by butting the strips against the wall] to initally match grain and color. Now I have 30 pounds of strips to sort "by the each". DOH!!!
