Part of the reason I give the S&G Guillemot plans away for free is the panels were not generated by a CAD package. I did the panel development by "hand" using a scale model. I would make a scale model of the modified boat to see if the panels work as expected. I would tend to change the height and width dimensions proportionally to maintain the cross sectional shape. The length should be able to be scaled at will.
