Jim,

Upon reflection, the surface-mount wooden padeye you are describing sounds a lot like what Nick used for running perimeter lines on the Guillemot SK prototype. I seem to remember him saying they were knocked off over time. In any case, they were missing from the deck when I saw the boat at the last Newfound Rendezvous. Nick?
