I don't know if you've played with it or not, but the new version of Hulls from Carlson Design is quite a nice freeware package for playing with S&G designs. Complete with visual panel layouts on whatever size sheets of material, and with an offset table. It also has a rather nice results summary for when you've decided to "add water" as it were.

The usuall disclaimers about no vested interests, etc. It's just on my PC and is fun and easy to play with. Available at http://members.aol.com/ghartc/index.htm if anyone is interested.
