I'll try: The jig is three layers of 1/4" material. If you lay one 1/4" thick strip at the bottom of it, to cut so the joint is visible, then the air holes are just above the one strip. But holding two strips together is easy to do with the hand well clear, and the vacuum will hold the top strip in place. I can borry the camera again tonight and take a picture of it in use if that would help.
