Okay -- Once upon a time my hair was blond (when I was a kid).. now age has darkened it to being more brunette.... and I'm tentatively planning to come... As luck would have it, I'm intending to be on vacation then... heading home to Port Townsend to visit the family. (cheap vacation = visit parents)...

BTW -- after Ft. Worden was decommissioned as a military base and before it became a state park, it served as a Juvenile Diagnostic & Treatment center ... the kids sent to the Fort were all juvenile delinquents. My father (long deceased) served as principal of the school there.
