I think you're right, if we can pull off the trick of turning sticks into an enviable creation, what pitfalls could mere varnish hold! You're right again about foam brushes, I saw my share of bristles that I had to tediously pick from my first fill coat - - Dale Frolander wrote me too that he was sick of picking bristles from his triple. I used a foam roller today for my 2nd fill coat of epoxy, and the roller worked great. It wasn't even necessary to tip-off, as there just weren't any bubbles at all.

I'm starting to think that the second strip-built will be a "whole lot" easier after having been through it once . . . 8-)
