I built a 20' Pokomoke a couple of years ago and put 3 cockpits in it - idea was to use it as a double with centre cockpit covered, as a single with 2 outer cockpits covered or to use all 3 at once with 2 of my kids in front and me in the back. The last option is what I've ended up using it for the most - the kids love it. However I'd like to get out earlier in the season and keep it out later in the the season. It's pretty tippy for taking the kids in cold water. I thought I'd make a couple of outrigger hulls for it that I can put on or off(no real interest in sailing with them, just paddling). Any one done this successfully and if so, what's a real quick and easy way of making (or inexpensively buying) a couple of... say 4' long hulls?
