Cool idea. My brother wants me to build him a kayak with leaves laminated under the glass cloth, but that would probably make for a good place for the cloth to separate from the wood.
It might be tough to get epoxy through the printed cloth, so using George Roberts' method of applying epoxy, rolling on the cloth, then applying more epoxy on top might be best. A looser-woven cloth might work better than a tighter one. It will be tough to tell whether or not you got all the bubbles out -- this cloth won't go clear like the glass. A test sample will definitely be needed to see how it wets out and whether the dies in the cloth bleed.
It's kind of a shame to cover up the entire wood deck, the most visible part of the boat. How about an irregular swath of the cloth, with some of the mahogany being allowed show? Maybe you could do a stretched oval shape around the cockpit...
