I was wondering how long it would take for someone to bring that up. Not long, obviously. I have no trouble believe the fitting would fail if I tried to hang from the apex of the loop with forces trying to fold the loop flat. However, I intend to mount the fittings so that when the perimeter line is tightened, it naturally pulls close to the deck instead of riding-up onto the top of the loop. This would be analogous to hanging from the loop with both the test panel and loop in a vertical position. I didn't try this, but my gut feeling is that it would hold just fine. Maybe I need to take another trip to the garage, test panel in-hand. ;-)
