I am not totally convinced that I have a sensitivity to epoxy, and would like to compare notes with anyone who has, or thinks he/she may have, such a sensitivity. What are the symptoms? Confirmatory tests? Treatment? Cure?
In my case, I get itching fingers, cracked skin, and tiny blisters. I am not sure it is from using epoxy, and may be something entirely unrelated. I use latex gloves when working with the uncured stuff, but no gloves when sanding or scraping. I have gotten it on my hands at times, but soon after I wash with waterless hand cleaner. The symptoms appear at times unrelated to epoxy use - like a day or two later. I have even had outbreaks days after using the stuff, further making me suspicious of it possibly not being related to epoxy.
Anybody else, especially long term or professional builders, have similar problems?
