I don't know how much help this is, but what you describe sounds alot like a reaction to latex gloves. My wife is a nurse and gets symptoms exactly like what you described. She says try a powder free glove, and if that doesn't work, then try a powder-free vinyl glove. She says most people in hospitals who are latex sensitive use the vinyl surgical gloves.
