Choosing a seat

I'm not happy with the seat I carved out of closed cell foam and am thinking about a "store bought' seat. Any recommendations e.g. happy bottom, creature comfort or something else. I'm also concerned about a seat that is too thick which will raise the c.g. and reduce the stability.
