Hi Ross,
I wasn't happy with the foam seat that came in my Necky kayak so I upgraded to their new moulded plastic seat. It is so comfortable that I will use it in my stripper if i ever get it done.
The point here is that you just have to go down to your local kayak shop and try out the seats they have in commercial kayaks. Then you just order the one you want from them.(Took me 1 day to get mine, of course Necky is only 2 minutes away but they don't sell factory direct.) Then you use it as a mold to make more of you own!!
