I ordered a footbrace kit from Eric for my first boat, built it, and decided it was too big and clunky. Plus I didn't like the fact that the brace was free to move, which would be fine when seated in the boat with your feet against it, but I wasn't sure about it sliding around during a wet entry. I went with Keepers instead. Having just pegs gives you the option of stretching your legs out straight once in a while, which they greatly appreciate...
