Proper gluing technique- OT

I am in the middle of building a cold-molded inboard mahogany runabout. The frame is just about done, and is ready for the planking, which consists of 3 layers of 1/8" mahogany/ocume plywood and an exterior layer of 1/8 in solid mahogany veneer. The layers are are oriented at 90 degrees to each other, glued with epoxy.

My question, never having done this before is how to best eliminate voids between the layers when gluing? Anybody done this before who can offer some helpful tips? Thanks, and I promise not to run down any paddlers!!!
