If you go back to the original question, you will see that it is about stitch and glue and not strippers. I agree, with strippers, wood type glues are fine since they are totaly encapsulated. With S&G boats where the scarfs on the panels, and the sheer clamps can get exposed to water through rolling etc, I do not think it is a good idea.
