The paddle looks great! I have been toying with the idea of making one myself. What types of wood did you use? I have some thinner trips of redwood. cherry and mahogany. Could I layer them with some spruce from a 2x4? Did you use a router with a round nose bowl bit it make the shaft hollow and then epoxy it up? What is the diameter of the hollow part? Did use the basic plans that were posted from one of Chuck Holst's plans?
