: Why not use an old wind surfing trick, I used to sprickle sugar on the
: uncured resin on the deck. The sugar washed off real easy. Since you most
: likely will be using epoxy, you can sprickle some non-skid granuals on top
: of the uncured epoxy.

: Since, you already varnished, you may want to just try a coat of varnish and
: sprickle the non-skid granuals on the wet varnish. This would avoid having

Some really cool suggestions. What actually happens when using the sugar? You imply that you can use it on varnish or epoxy - are there different results. And are the commercial non skid granules, transparent.

Or using the same idea, would saving epoxy sanding dust and sprinkling that back on w/ a thin coat of epoxy do the same thing?

Or are there 2part polyurethane clear rubberlike coatings?? I'm sure I've seen them somewhere.

To me, it seems like a solution that doesn't cover up the beauty of the inner strips will be more pleasing.
