Been saving my penneys and nickels and am about to order enough glass and resin to do about three boats. Have some questions:
1) I've decided to take the frame I built for the18'5" Walrus and cover it with 1/8" luaun and lightweight glass. For paddling in quiet waters should I be OK to resin the inside and glassing the outside with a single layer of 2.3 ot 3.75 oz. cloth? What weight and type of tape should I use for the seams?
2) The later boats will be strip-built in all likelihood. Which RAKA resin and hardener are appropriate if I want a clear coat and I don't want to have to deal with blushing problems?
3) Will RAKA products be compatible with leftover West System resin and glass?
Thanks, Tom
