Concerns about the use of veneer banding

Paul,

I have the same concern as John but in my case I was contemplating using the banding on the hull for the full length of the shear line. This would sort of replicate the black band of ?? that Pygmy shows on some of their boats. If there's delamination here I am more concerned as it's over a larger area and at a critical joint on the boat.

Should I epoxy the banding or use would glue or do you think the pre-applied adhesive is satisfactory? Also, having never worked with banding, I was wondering whether it would have enough flexibility for my intended use along the shear line to accentuate the curvature of the Coho's shear line.
