Thank you for the comparisons and design and construction details. All good things to consider and definitely sound good in theory. I would think that roll characteristics would be influenced by you changing the shape of the deck though making the yak less symetrical around its axis of rotation. I would think that the non-hardchine lines would make the roll definietly easier than the CLC though.

Looking forward to more pictures. I may post some of the Merganser in the future. Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera as I still believe in slides and 35 mm.
