: cedar strips, which I would guess is glue that didn't get sanded off.
: Should I wait 24 hrs. till the epoxy hardens and sand that area again ? Or

What kind of glue you used? It could be that the glue soaked into wood pores and seal it preventing epoxy to penetrate. Nexttime, wipe excess off with wet paper towel or scrap extra glue off as soon as glue start to gel up. As for this time, any suggestion fellows?
