: I didn't realise your seat was inflatable, sounds like you should increase
: the pressure until your butt is not touching the bottom of your kayak.
: That should distribute your weight more evenly.
the seat's instructions says not to put high pressure in the pad so you are sitting ON it, but rather reduce the pressure & sit IN it, & it makes sense because that way you are supported on more butt surface, so....
: On the other hand, If you lift yourself up too much, you'll also raise your
: centre of gravity. There's probably an optimum point in there
: somewhere....
so I figured, let the pressure be low, & let the butt touch the hull, as long as it's comfortable. I didn't knew anything about these nerves, so comfortness was the limit. however! even when fully inflated, the pad is 3/4" - 1" thick, which is like most seats, but I don't need it fully inflated to fix this nerve problem, so it will still be the lowest seat in the market.
I didn't go out to sea today, so I didn't messed with the issue. can't move my shoulders after yesterdays paddling. do you have solution for that too ? 8-) (I'm not married 8-) )
