gel seats are heavy like hell ! (hmm... I'm not sure how heavy hell realy is, you'll have to check with Rehd on that 8-) )

that's the reason I didn't put them on my bike.

that's the reason I wouldn't put them in my yak.

& also, the problems are different.

1. on bike you move all the time so you don't seat in the same place all the time. In a kayak the opposite is true.

2. On bike you want the seat to absorb some of the shocks. In a kayak you don't need it.
