As a newbie who didn't have the guts to jump into strip-building the first time out, your boat makes me think: what if? But I do like the previous comment asking where you're going to store the beauty...certainly NOT in the garage or workshop! Here's an idea: make an appropriately-sized box out of plexiglass, with one end removable, then slot in your "performance art" when not in use -it will be the longest (& most distinctive) coffeetable in existence! I'm still negotiating a wall mount for my nearly done S&G in the Family Room...wish me luck. Cheers
