I was laying out the kit parts for my daughters Chessie 14 this evening, and when I laid them on the bench as per the plans, the scarf joints didn't line up. Do I glue the scarfs as they are cut (making the boat longer) or do I recut the scarf joints?

No, I don't know if the other panels suffer from the same problem, I'm on my way out to the garage to check...

The red lines in the photo should line up, but as you can see, they are off by about 3/4".
