Thanks Doug. Well, when ACAD 2000 stares at you for 9 hours every day, you've got to do something fun with it every so often!

My thoughts exactly--I'm not certified, but the armchair engineer in me tells me it will work well enough. At least it spreads out the stress so it isn't so much of a point loading.

: (I forgot to mention that I'm planning on using a foot pump also.)

Any ideas on what kind of foot pump/how you will install it? Tim Stough had some pretty good ideas in his post a week ago. I'm still thinking about my design...perhaps I'll draw something up when I get more figured out!
