Hey I have a warning to put out.
My boss a Very expierienced paddler. was one spot away from making the olympics in flatwater racing. He was working late last night and was installing anm electric bilge pump "handy little device..." with mini cell foam and velcrow. well to get it in right he had to get in the boat... now a really good boater will tell you that getting "in " the boat is somthing that you have to do every once and ahwile. Well he was "in" meaning more then half his body was in the boat. "the wrong half" and he got stuck. he had gotten his hips wedged into the cockpit coaming and was unable to escape for 2 hours. he did eventually get out. but he was scared he was going to have to sleep in there.
so a word to the wise... when installing things in your boat... make sure you can get out ;)
