Other than the solutions mentioned below, If all elxe fails, you could cut or sand off the deck to four inches aft of the end. Drill and chisel out the plug or most of it. Replace the end (bow piece) with another piece - maybe a different color wood or decorative. Before you do that, you would fill the bow tip with very thick epoxy which would bond the bow piece as well as fill the chiseled out sections of the end pour.
Rob Max does bow pieces on his designs so he can get under it and glass right to the tips. Then he completes the decks. They look nice with a darker section of wood on the ends.
