I certainly wouldn't dispute the quality of Newfound's kits. However, I still think their prices are pretty exhorbitant. Perhaps the support you recieved makes it worth it to you. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

One of these days, I'm going to run up and check out their operation (maybe this weekend if the weather is lousy again). Perhaps that will change my point of view.

BTW, where in NH are you located. I'm in Nashua. I'd love to take a look at your boat sometime.
