I went to the Wooden Boat Show at Mystic, a couple of years ago, before they had it in Maryland. It was great, amazing boats of all kinds. As I remember, it should be fairly easy to talk to exhibitors at any time. Most people are very approachable. They're mostly there to sell their stuff, so they're glad to talk about it. Plan on spending the day there, there is lots to see. Go as early as possible. Mystic is a small town with narrow streets. If you go very early you can probably park in the lot across the street, later, you'll need to park out of town and take a shuttle in. If it's a toss up, go on Saturday, people get very tired at these things. You might want to pack your own lunch, food is available, but lines are long. You may want to check the website or call, the price of the ticket MAY be for both days, I'm not sure. Have fun.
