If I was the priest who took your confession I'd say that God gave electricity to all Mankind - He also gave us slow-cure epoxy - therefore you're absolved of any sin. Of course, I'm an agnostic so I admit to knowing nothing about the ultimate workings of the cosmos (and not that much about kayak building either!).

I've really enjoyed reading your posts - including all the unnecessarily self-depricating humor. It's you modest guys who end up building the most beautiful boats too. And it sounds like you're well on the way to a successful completion.
