Thanks to everyone for your help & comments. This board has been a lifesaver and I'm sure that it multiplied the quality of the final product (although any errors remain the responsibility of the builder!) She floats level and I can't wait to giver her a true launch in the waters of San Diego Bay this August. Now to get to work on that paddle! (by the way, check out the photo of how narrow my "shop" area is...definitely a tight fit)
