That gives me an idea ... welding supply places sell stainles steel welding rods, about 1/16" inch in diameter. for about $8/lb (about 25 pieces, 36" long)...I use them to make saltwater fishing lures (tube and worm)...maybe I can figure out how to make some sort of flat weave to apply to the keel near the stern. Thanks, John
