: I can't imagine doing enough sanding on my own with what cedar scraps I have
: left inorder to get near the amount of saw dust needed for mixing glue for
: all the cracks I need to fill on my boat. Are there retail sources for
: "wood flour"...needing very light/blonde, pinkish and light
: brown and dark chocolate brown shades of western red cedar to finish all
: the filling before I start to sand...where can I get this stuff? Oh...and
: thanks to all of you for writing back in answer to my original question!!!
If you know of any Model Railroad enthusiasts or a hobby shop that deals with Model RR's then they usually have it in different shades for rocks, grass and all different sorts of things. Hold on to your shorts when you see the price though. You could also call your local cabinet shops and see if they will let you go through their shop vacume bags. You would have to run it through a flour sifter though, to get the right consistancy. ???
