Hi All;
Well, thanks to y'all I got some cotton gloves at Walgreens (ladies night-time beauty gloves, $1.99), noted that the temps tonight dropped down to 90F, so what more excuse did I need to glass my hull?
Since I was working alone, I decided to start with a roller to apply the epoxy. That technique is so slow and wimpy I became frustrated and just dumped the contents of the pan onto the deck and squeegeed it around like last time. Took all of 30 minutes, looks pretty darn good to me, and I came in and celebrated with a tasty cocktail well before the epoxy even started to kick. Probably time for another cocktail before the cloth turns leathery enough to slice away. Completing this deck is something of a milestone for me. I am happy tonight.
There are a few more pix up at my link below, please go to "Deck Glassing" to view . . .
Best Regards to all, and to all a Good-Night, Spidey
