Will this be a full layer of 4 oz. or just on the very bottom panels?

I'd put the 6 oz. on first, and run the 4 oz. just past the chines. Feather the edges in and then do the fill-the-weave coat.

You can lay up the 6 oz. and 4 oz. together or separately. The jury is out as to which one is easier--neither is too difficult. I wouldn't recommend laying up both layers of glass over bare wood----too much to wet out--but it would work well over a fill-coated hull.

: i like the idea of an extra layer of 4 oz glass on my boat's bottom panels.
: can you help me out with the sequence... when should that best go on in
: relation to the six oz and respective expoxy coats? thanks!
