Thanks for the complete rundown. Another thing I noted about the curing stages of epoxy is that when the chemical reaction really starts, that point we refer to as "kicking," the fumes are at their absolute worst. I wear an organic respirator the whole time I'm working, but when I'm done and leave the garage I of course remove it. Checking back a few times later to see what is happening, there is no doubt when the epoxy is no longer workable. The "odor-of-the-cure begun" is quite obvious, and probably as dangerous to us as it gets.
Green epoxy is probably the best work stage, the time when we trim our cloth. Great time to get rid of drips & runs, if you have any, that is . . . ;-)
