If someone really wants your boat, he's gonna get it. Maybe I should have said "opportunistic thieves" meaning if it is locked, a quick pickup is difficult so the odds of theft are reduced. All anyone who really wanted my boat would have to do is cut the cable and the straps and load it on their truck and go.
