: Hi - My husband just finished building my a wonderful kayak, Pygmy's Arctic
: Tern. Today we went out and much to my distress, my legs and feet were
: falling asleep/pins and needles, etc. in no time. I'm not sure if this is
: the seat or where my leg braces are placed - I just know that there is
: some nerve impingement going on that is making me miserable. Can anybody
: offer a suggestion? I'd really appreciate it. Toni

Hi Toni

Yes, chances are it's the seat, or lack of enough seat. Look back a couple of weeks and there was a lengthy discussion about seats and the problem you are discribing. Mostly do to lack of support under the upper thigh. Much of the trend is toward custom sizing the seat to yours. Many of the folks on the KBBB have custom made their seats and eliminated the problem. I'm sure some will come to your rescue in do time. They are probably all out paddling. Just hang in there.
