Hey Garland, Is the Jeep Grand Cherokee still the MK vehicle between the Grand Am and the Caddy Sedan DeVille? Tell her to go for that next!!

I would think that a Yakima rack system with Q-towers would work best. Neither the Taurus or Grand Am have raingutters, IIRC, so you could get 2 sets of Q-clips and use the same rack on both cars. Both cars probably even have similar-length rooflines, so you might not have to move much around when you convert the rack between the two vehicles. Heck, one set of Q-clips might fit both vehicles.
