I've been wondering about this myself the last while. I find I'm far more carefull in a fibreglass kayak than a plastic one when paddling near rocks. Makes me wonder if I'll have to be even more carefull in a wooden boat.I would like to here from someone who has paddled both wooden and fibreglass boats and hit rocks (as I seem to do on a fairly regular basis). Is the wood epoxy boat as durable in this situation?
