grant, whoa there, big fella. i didn't post this question to rile anyone up, any more than i'm building boats to validate anything's existence. my girlfriend and i are building two stitch and glue kayaks to use on a 4,000 mile mountain bike/sea kayak expedition later this year. a big part of attaining sponsorship for our trip involves giving factual, well thought out feedback on the gear being provided us. also, you wouldn't believe the kinds of questions journalists come up with, and i simply like to have good answers. "lighten up" probably wouldn't come off to them as a good answer when they ask me about our boats. no offense intended to anyone, here, bro...
