I'm quite certain that my garage temperature was below 65 degrees when I varnished and it came out alright. I even had trouble with it thickening too much as i went along and having to thin it a bit to get it to spread well. If you have an electric/kerosene heater to bring the temp up a bit before you start so the wood is warmer then you should be fine - in my opinion (my disclaimer) ;>) Earl
