I have laid up some WW helmets, Honestly unless you are experienced with glass work, it is tough to get good strong and light layups. I would avoid using any kevlar where it is exposed to UV, but maybe you are using a pigmented gelcoat or metal flake? Also one of the bigest benifits of kevlar and carbon fiber is the weight savings, and in helmets, they don't remove much, and are hard to sand. As I recall the ones I worked on were more like 5-6 layers of 6oz glass, poly and maybe two layers of crows foot kevlar on the inside. All of ours were done with Vinylester resin. I don't think there is any reason to use epoxy unless for avaliability/experience reasons, more so with the squirt.
Do you have a squirt mold already? helmet molds? Some friends and I laid up some xtra-jets and helmets a few years ago, it is always intersting to see what is floating around in the way of molds and boats...
Good Luck, be carefull with yer head

: laying up a glass squirt boat in the future. What epoxy should I be using?
: I live in Denver and have been dealing locally w/ an outfit that uses West

: inside layer of carbon fiber. I would appreciate any advice.
