Hi Posters;
I had a bit of a fisheye problem this last week, and so many of you chipped in with great information, tips, and timely help - Because of y'all, I'm back in the groove! The "fairing coat" is finally in place, and it is simply a smooth layer of epoxy without a blemish to be seen - Thanks!
To banish the problem that plagued 2 epoxy coats which ultimately had to be totally sanded off, I washed everything the epoxy would touch with soap and water, including tools, mixing containers, hull, etc. I then washed them all again with denatured alcohol. It didn't take long, surely a lot less than experiencing another contaminated coat. Wherever the problem stemmed from, it is now gone.
Onward, Spidey
